MY LATEST FINDS

My man dragged me out to two car boot sales yesterday.
My plan was to clean the house, which really needed to be
done since I've been busy with craft projects the last week.
Since it's the end of the season for boot sales we didn't find
that much stuff. This is just some of the finds though...

My favorite find is the soup container, I first thought it was
Swedish but after closer inspection I noticed that it's of an
English make.
The guy who sold it to me told me it was from his mother
and she bought it in the 1960's.

I got plans for the flowery dress.
It's a Laura Ashley dress that's not so very flattering at the
top so I'm gonna turn it into a skirt instead.

After the boot sale we went to out favorite restaurant and
afterwards we went to my father in law.

Everything except the flowery dress is from the 50's/60's.

Dresses, £2 & 50 pence.

French pictures, 75 pence each.

Soup container, 50 pence.

Cassette case, 50 pence.

LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT

For you this might just be a laundry bin, for me it was
love at first sight.
We went to the antique market yesterday, I spotted
this 1950's treasure right away and wouldn't leave the
market without it. I got it for £12.

YET ANOTHER HAT

Are you bored yet?
I made this one yesterday and I'm very pleased with the result.
More to come...

GIVEAWAY!

It's been a while since I had a giveaway and this
time I give away this headband that I made myself.
The only thing you need to do is to write a comment,
preferably a nice one, of course, before the 31th of
October 2 PM (CET).
Feel free to spread the word and good luck!

PINK, PINK AND MORE PINK

I finished this one yesterday.
I like that it turned out so cute and feminine.
What do you think?

LAST NIGHT

Last night I looked like this!
Even though I didn't feel well I still went to a Bar Mitzvah
party we were invited to and I had a good time.
It was nice to meet my man's relatives and they all seem
to really like me. Hey, what's not to like? *giggle*
I was the most colorful person in the room, because of my
outfit (red dress and butterfly hat) and my tattoos.
Also, everyone but the hostess were dressed in black!

GOLD DIGGER

I'm a hopeless cause when it comes to pretty vintage
handbags, I really am.
If I see something I really like, that makes my heart
skip an extra beat and that I haven't seen anyone else
carrying around I usually get it.
It's not like I spend a lot of money on a regular basis.
I found this lovely thing on Etsy yesterday and I didn't
even wait half a second before I bought it, you can
probably see why...

Let's hope it's arrive safely.

CRAVINGS

Today is a Bullie craving day.
I want another Bull Terrier to take for looong walks,
to laugh at while it's having a hucklebutt moment, to
snuggle and cuddle with.
Now that would be so swell...

ANOTHER NEW HAT

You might recognize this butterfly from a previous project.
I actually liked the previous one but it wasn't very sturdy so
I attached it to a little hat base and used red plain veiling
instead of the vintage pom pom veiling.

I'm gonna wear this to the Bar Mitzvah party tonight, if I'm
well enough to leave the house that is.

NEW HAT

I made this one a couple of weeks ago but I wasn't happy
with the veiling so I re-did it yesterday.
Simple and classic.

DRINKIN' WINE SPO-DEE-O-DEE

Today I finally got my long sought after answer to
what the heck Wine Spo-dee-O-dee is!
It's apparently when the wino's put all the left over
wine together in a bottle, they then drink it.
Thanks Sky Art 1!

This shirt got stolen from my man at Hemsby.
It's brown, white and beige and has a repair.
If you happen to come across this on the rocking

Thanks a bunch.

A PACKAGE FROM THE HOLY LAND

I got a package from Angel in Israel today.
I purchased a pair of cute shoes from her Etsy shop
recently and I got a little bonus too, a lovely pair of
earrings that she made herself!
I might wear the earrings at my mans nephews Bar
Mitzvah
on Saturday.

LATEST FINDS

Hi my darlings!
I'm ill after a rather busy Hemsby weekend.
Went to bed at 4 AM every night and it was freezing
cold so it's no wonder my system had enough.
We went up in the early hours on Sunday to do the car
boot sale and I must say we did pretty well, except that
my man got a very rare 50's shirt stolen from our rack!
There were also some people who wanted to stir shit
but over all the weekend was OK.

I promised you a Prague post but I'm not well enough
to sit here for long so this will be a short one about my
latest finds, some from Prague and some from Hemsby.

a while.

SORRY

Sorry, no long post today.
I've been busy sorting through my closets today.
There was tons of 1950's/rockabilly clothes and
shoes that no longer want and I hope to get rid off
it all at Hemsby car boot sale on Sunday.
I thought that I would only bring two big bags but
ended up with four big bags, a box full of handbags
and a box with hair flowers and jewlery.
I'm way too lazy to list them on Etsy or eBay and
since Royal Mail can't do their damn job properly
I'm not gonna use their services.
They've been on strike for almost 14 weeks now!
It sucks getting angry emails from buyers when all
I do is my very best.

Need to pack the stuff I'm gonna wear for Hemsby
rock n' roll weekender
, still don't know what but I
got some time in the morning.
It's autumn so red or black is safe colors, it should
be easy to put something together.
Need to pack shoes that are easy to jive in as well
because I plan to do that a lot over the weekend.

I'M BACK!

Hi my darlings!
I'm home in rainy England.
It was summer heat in Prague today and it's a bit
depressing coming home to a soggy sky if you ask me.
The house if freezing cold and the heater doesn't work.
I'm doing laundry and unpacking at the moment.
I realized while we were in Prague that we're actually
going to Hemsby rock n' roll weekender the day after
tomorrow! No rest and recovering for us.

I had a blast in Prague!
I absolutely loved the room, I found some really cool
stuff at the second hand shops for not much money and
I met two English Bull Terriers.
I will tell you more about it tomorrow or on Monday,
it all depends on how much time I've got.
I do have a personal shopping guide for second hand and
vintage that I also wanna share with you.
Now, back to unpacking the suitcase.

Love you lots!
