I HAVE NOTHING TO WEAR!

I don't have anything to wear!
There, I said it.
I'm packing and I hate it, really, really hate it.
I have tons of beautiful vintage dresses but they are too
big or way too formal to bring to Spain. *sigh*
I got tons of bikinis and I have a bunch of really nice shorts
and tops to wear around the pool and on the beach but only
3 "exotic" dresses for the evenings, I need 2 more.
I want but can't really bring one of my favorite dresses that
Bernie Dexter gave me as a present way back when, I wore it
on Hemsby last year and I'm afraid that it would get Sangria
stains on it.
No, I'm not that type of girl who wears the same dress twice
on one weekender.
I wish I knew how to do magic...

Can I wear a black tight Galaxy dress if I put red flowers in
my hair to make it look more "flamenco"?

I'M SWEATING MY ASS OFF!

I'm so fed up with hair-flowers so if I have to glue another
hair-flower I will friggin' puke! I mean it!
I now have a huge stock to sell in Spain, maybe too huge
but what I don't sell in Spain I will sell on Tradera.
I also been a good housewife, did 3 loads of laundry and
vacuumed the house.



We just finished one hour of jiving.
I'm literary sweating my ass off!
We had to change the whole routine a bit since my man
can't use both of his hands after his surgery.
I think we did good anyway...

MORE PLUS SIZE, PLEASE.

I got tons of stuff I need to do before Spain today and
I'm now getting into the zone to do them.
(That means that I just had a proper cup of coffee.)
The thing I want and need the most is a good kick up
the ass to do some more hair-flowers and finish some
sewing projects.



Friday night was great.
We were on the guest list, of course...
I ended up wearing a pair of red tartan pants that was
really flattering for my behind and a pair of punky 7 inch
stripper heels, lots of makeup and wild hair.
The best performance of the night was the one man show,
D-66, that guy was awesome!
There was also two burlesque dancers there, I didn't care
at all for the skinny blonde but the raven plus size girl was
delicious!
I tried to find her website but still no result, I will post a
link if I get hold of her.

IT'S GONNA BE A WILD NIGHT

I got my hearing aid today!
It's feels very strange to hear stuff I couldn't hear before.
I don't like it but I guess it will take some time to get used
to it.

I'm in the process of dolling up for the night.
We're going out to The Trailer Pussy Show to see our
friends The Mojokings and The Caravans play.
I'm thinking about wearing something really punky/slutty
but with class, of course.
What about 7 inch heels and a very tight pencil skirt?

I have plans to don't give a damn tonight and get rowdy
for once and maybe even have a drink or two.

And I have had this song stuck on my brain the entire day.
(Don't ask...)

BOOKED FOR HEMSBY!

We're now booked for Hemsby 41.
We're gonna share chalet with the two legendary neo-rockabilly
bands Dave Phillips & The Hot Rod Gang and Restless, in other
words, it's gonna be one hell of a party!
I wish that my lovely friend Miss Wink could come over for this
one, she would me mighty popular with that crowd. *smirk*
Everyone of my man's friends asks me if I've got a twin or at least
a friend as nice and pretty as me.
I can't blame them, who wouldn't want a curvy Swedish bird?

IN A FUNK

I'm in a funk at the moment.
I don't feel like my happy and creative self at all.
I tried to make more hair-flowers today but I just
couldn't stand the fiddle.
Very frustrating since I want to finish some custom
orders before we go to Spain next week.

Even the car boot sales that we went to on Saturday
felt like a huge task and I had a mild panic attack at
a gig on Sunday.



Now let me change the subject just a little...
I'm gonna tell you about one lucky coincidence that
occurred last week.
I had just made a bunch of big yellow hair-flowers
to sell in Spain and on Tradera.
As I was searching for pictures of the Andrew Sisters
for another project I stumbled on a picture where they
are wearing almost the exact same flowers as the ones I
made! Talk about perfect reference for my auctions.

I also have a recommendation.
I just love Duffy and her lovely voice. (Up yours Amy!)
My personal favorite song is "Mercy" but her style is so
darn immaculate in her new video "Stepping Stone".
