Picked up this really cool wicker table from a charity
shop not so long ago for only £10.
It was filthy and in a pretty bad state, but you know
me, when I find something this cool I'm not scared to
put some work into getting it back to it's former glory.
It needed a really good clean and some heavy sanding
to remove the rust. Then I spray painted the legs and
Hey Presto! A new addition to my vintage home.
BEFORE
Years of caked filth and paint stains.
Plenty of rust.
More rust.
AFTER
Nice and clean, thanks to some good brushes and
Swedish pine soap.
Like new.
No more rust.

Looks great! How did you get rid of the rust? I have a few things with rusty legs too.
Thanks!
I used a steel brush and also some good sand paper for metal.
Blev ju VÄLDIGT snyggt!

Clare: Thanks doll! :)
That turned out really pretty! And I like the fact that the table is not all white, but that it has some colours to it!
Impressive!
Väldigt fint! Jag vet att man kan ta bort rost på knivar med rå lök, men det kanske bara är "Ny" yt-rost.
WOW beautifull !! Pine soap always made miracles !
This table is awesome !
It’s really a wonder how little things can make a big difference! The wicker table is already a beauty, but you were able to give it a new look just by repainting the legs. And the best part was you were able to get it for a good deal and help others as well. [Gerry Bossier]
