Hi my darlings!
I hope you had a really fun weekend!
It was a warm and very sunny weekend over here so
we went to a couple of boot sales and had a BBQ both
on Friday and Saturday.
Might as well when the weather is nice, right?
My low carb, low cal, low fat vegetarian BBQ plate.
Very nice!
I got a whole bunch of neat stuff at the car boot sales
but I just can't post pictures of everything so here's a
few of my favorites...
Earrings, 20 pence. (2 Kr, $0.30, €0.25)
Brooch, £1. (11 Kr, $1.50, €1.15)
Cute gingham top, 50 pence. (5 Kr, $0.75, €0.60)

Hey! I feel extremely boring to be honest, all I blog
about is finds, finds and more finds.
Is there anything you want me to blog about?
Please let me know because all I do is crafting and
going to the gym. I need inspiration.

As promised, here's more finds from Prague.
I still have to post pictures of the two 1950's dresses

I don't think I have to add that these treasures are
from the 1950's/1960's, do I? ;)
Wicker sewing box, £2.70. (29 Kr, $4.15, €3.10)
Wicker bottle, £1.80. (19 Kr, $2.75, €2)
Locks, £1.15. (12 Kr, $1.75, €1.30)

BACK HOME!
I'm finally back home!
Like a lot of other people I've been "stranded" because
of the volcano on Island, lucky that I got the room a lot
cheaper because I stayed there before and Prague is a
very nice city to be stranded in, so it wasn't all bad...
I came home this afternoon, by coach, it took 22 hours
and Ive been in five countries during this period of time.
I'm extremely tired but I can't help myself, I just have
to show you the brooches I got in Prague.
All of them are vintage, of course... Enjoy!
1940's Lucite brooch, £4.
(44 Kr, $6, €4.60)
Handmade 1960's leather brooch, 60 pence.
(6.50 Kr, $0.90, €0.80)
1950's/1960's brooch, £1.50
(16 Kr, $2.30, €1.70)
Handmade 1950's brooch, 80 pence.
(8.50 Kr, $1.20, €0.90)
Handmade 1950's brooch, £2.50.
(27 Kr, $3.80, €2.80)
I got some other stuff too but they need a good clean
and so do I right now so you just have to wait...

QUICK ONE!
The weather is wonderful, everything is in bloom
and the birds are singing, that means it's too nice
to be stuck indoors by the computer so I'm gonna
make this a quick one before I go for a long walk.
Went to a boot sale this morning, got a few things
and here's my two favorites.
Brand new Swedish clogs, £1. (11 kr, $1.50, €1.10)
These cost a whole lot on the Internet, I was looking for a
pair like this the other day but though the prices was a bit
of a piss take to be honest.
Peacock fan, 30 pence. (3 kr, $0.45, €0.35)

SCOUTING
Woke up early and the sun was shining so we decided to
take a day off and go for a ride and scouting charity shops
along the way.
I've lost six kilos (13 lb) so most of my clothes are too big
so today I was on a hunt for some cute summer wear and
summer wear I found.
I'm so spoilt with car boot sale prices that I felt I spent a
fortune today! :))
It's not hard to pick a favorite out of the bunch, of course
it is the vintage wicker handbag that I snagged for £5!!!
Click the images for larger versions!
Cardigan, £2.50. (27 kr, $3.80, €2.80)
Bolero, £5. (55 kr, $7.70, €5.70)
I looove the bolero, it will look so good with a yellow dress.
Shorts, £1. (11 kr, $1.50, €1.10)
Vintage apron, £1.50. (16 kr, $2.30, €1.70)
I love these candy striped high waist shorts, they are the
perfect addition to my summer wardrobe.
Vintage wicker handbag, £5. (55 kr, $7.70, €5.70)
Mint condition and caramel colored lucite handles. *sigh*

WHAT A BEAUTIFUL DAY!
What a beautiful day!
18 C, sunshine and not a cloud in sight!
Did two loads of laundry this morning and hang it out
to dry and I just finished mowing the lawn.
I just love the smell of freshly cut grass and air dryed
laundry.
Got a donation from a fan today, kick ass
pedals for my cruiser!
What do you think?

KICK ASS CHAIN GUARD!
Been ill today, food poisoning.
I used the time very wisely, I looked at cruisers on
Rat Rod Bikes to get some ideas and inspiration for
my project.
I also made a list of what stuff I need to get.
The hunt for cool and preferably vintage parts has
now begun.
I bought a vintage chain guard today for only £13!
(143 Kr, $19, €14)

THE CRUISER PROJECT
I finally got my other cruiser back last week.
Someone promised me to paint it professionally
over two years ago but he never did and he was
rather awkward about letting me have it back
but I had enough of his bull shit so I went to his
workshop with a don't mess with me attitude
and picked it up.
So now I got a huge project on my hands and it's
gonna be a fun one by the looks of it.
Here's a picture of the piece of junk I'm gonna
revamp. I will keep you posted how this project
is progressing.
This is my other cruiser, it needs a bit of TLC this
spring by the looks of it.

JUST A FEW FINDS...
Went to another car boot sale this morning but there
weren't many sellers that could be bothered to get up
and get rid of stuff.
I still managed to find a few cute vintage things, here's
some of them.
Earrings, 50 pence/pair. (5 kr, $0.75, €0.50)
I changed the hook on the right pair just before taking
this picture.
Donkey dish, 30 pence. (3 kr, $0.45, €0.30)
This little fella has been mended a lot of times but I just
couldn't leave him, he was so cute and the Swedish toffee
matches his colors perfectly!

The season for car boot sales has finally started!
Went to one this morning we haven't been to in

things I managed to snag.
Everything but the dress is from the 50's/60's.
Flask, 30 pence. (3 kr, $0.45, €0.30)

It has got a red and a gray leaf on it too.
Big bowl, 10 pence. (1 kr, $0.15, €0.10)

This will be just perfect as a house dress.

NEW PATTERN

MATZO BREI
Matzo Brei is one of the great traditional Passover
holiday breakfasts. Not only is it simple to make, it
is delicious and foolproof.
For each serving:
One egg
One sheet of Matzo
A pinch of salt and black pepper
1. Moisten the Matzo.
Start by breaking up the Matzo, and soaking it in
cold water until it's soft.
Don't soak for more than 2 minutes, since you still
want the egg to absorb in the next step.
2. Drain the matzo in a colander.
3. Beat the eggs, add a little salt and black pepper.
4. Mix the Matzo and the eggs.
5. Cook the mixture. Transfer the mix to a hot non
stick pan with just a little bit of oil, and cook until
done, turning a few times.
Keep the heat down and check regularly so you
don't burn it.
6. Transfer to a plate and serve while hot.
I prefer my Matzo Brei with cinnamon, brown
sugar and maple syrup sprinkled over the top.
If you plan to do the same, don't use too much
salt and don't use any black pepper!
If you want to serve this for lunch or dinner you
can do a savory version by adding some minced
garlic, herbs, well everything you fancy really...
