MORE RAIN, MORE FINDS

We started the day with a cup of proper coffee before we
went to two local car boot sales where we found some
really cool stuff and then we went home to eat scrambled
eggs and freshly baked bread.
We were supposed to go to a car show today to buy cool
custom parts for our modern hot rod and I had planned
to sell my new hair-flowers and bags and then attend the
Luau in the evening but it started to rain so we decided to
stay home.
My man is out to get some ice cream and then we gonna
spend the evening watching the Godfather trilogy.

GREAT MINDS THINK ALIKE

I want to be Marc Jacobs best friend, after his two sweet
Bull Terriers that is.
Just imagine how cool our friendship could be, we could
go for long walks with our Bull Terriers and I can be his
shoe muse and he can teach me how to knit (yes, the guy
can knit!) and on Friday evenings we can go to the
synagogue. (We're both Jewish.)
Marc, if you read this my number is: ***** - ******, let's
meet for coffee and a Bullie cuddle. *LOL*

MAMA'S GOTTA BRAND NEW BAG

Today I got my thumb out and booked an appointment
to finally finish one of my tattoos that I started back in
early 2006.
It's a pretty bird who looks like a mix between a Phoenix
and a Peacock.
There used to be two pinups but they are covered with a
huge plume.
I'm happy to have it done before we go to Spain 3 weeks
later, perfect healing time as well.

The day has been great.
We went to a small town not far from where we live and
we ended up going to a charity shop to give away stuff.
I found two vintage dresses that was on sale, one of them
is a blue evening gown that Marilyn Monroe would have
loved, that one I'm gonna keep for myself and it only cost
me £1!!!
I also found a very nice and pretty rare 1950's handbag in
perfect condition and in a brown metallic outfit.
It cost £10 but I managed to haggle it down to £8.50,
I told the manager that I given the store a whole bag of
stuff and that I also bought two dresses and asked if she
could lower the price for me. *smirk*
My man ended up giving it to me as a present.

MY VANITY

Did any of you lovely and stylish girls ask me about
my 1950's teak vanity a while back?
Better late then never, here's my lovely vanity that
I got for 250 Kr, £20, $40, at a flea market outside
Stockholm many years ago.
Yes, the stool was included in the price.

THE LUAU AND MORE...

The Luau on Saturday was fun, I was very tired but
managed to stay for at least a couple of hours.
I didn't take a lot of pictures, I couldn't be bothered.
The hostess promised to give me all the Hibiscus
flowers next week to make new hair-flowers, in return
I promised to make her some for her kindness.
I really hope she remember it. *smirk*

Yesterday we went to that local 1950's festival, it was
fun and I made some new friends.
One of the girls really loved my creations so she
offered me a place in her stall next time there's a
1950's/rockabilly event.

ALONE, AT LAST!

We finally got the house for ourselves!
It's been nice to have my dad and my stepmother over for the
week but it has also been a bit intense, a lot of running around
and have to jump between English and Swedish.
I'm exhausted, I just wanna slack off on the sofa but we have a
Luau to attend in about an hour so I have to get ready.

Tomorrow there's a local 1950's festival that we're gonna go to,
we know the guy's in the bands that are gonna play and my man
wants to show me off, as usual. *smirk*
