Hi guys and dolls!
So the kitchen is finished, the only thing we need is a fridge
but that won't happen until the end of this week.
I'm, sorry that I don't have any pictures of what the kitchen
looked like before the makeover, all I can say is blue floor
and granny units.
We wanted to change the worktops to black ones but these
will do for now.
From the beginning we wanted a 1950's English Rose kitchen
but it was too hard to find what we were looking for in the
time frame that we had and it would turn out way to expensive
in the end.
We wanted to keep it fresh and modern but with a retro and
playful feel.
The cartoonish orange and white tiles wasn't my idea, just a
result of my man watching movies like Who Framed Roger
Rabbit/Tom & Jerry/The Mask one time too many.

Looks great! :D
Thanks doll! :)
It looks so nice with the warm colours, and even though orange is a strong colour it's not too much - but absolutely perfect! I hope you'll have loads of nice meals and good times in your beautiful kitchen!
I love your kitchen, looks great.
The black floor is really nice :)
The orange is pretty nice though, not anything I would have ever thought of myself but it looks fresh!
Superfint kök med tvättmaskin i köket, inte lika vanligt här i Sverige men I like it :D
Läst din blogg superlänge men var tvungen och skaffa googlekonto innan jag kommenterade :D

The Freelancer's Fashionblog: Thanks. :)
It looks like a kitchen in an episode of Tom & Jerry.
The tiles was already there when I moved here but we both want black and white or red and white instead but it would be such a pain in the buttocks to remove them so we just live with it. For now.
Annaliljestrand2: Thank you sweetie. :)
I hate having the washer and dryer in the kitchen and would love a utility room, but hey, that's how it is here in England.
I'm glad you like my blog and I'm honored that you got an account. :)
Kattjäveln: Thanks pussycat!
Well, we had a plasterer here yesterday to give us a price on how much it would cost to plaster over our Artex walls and we will get him over very soon, after that I will post pictures of the rest, now it looks like crap.
