WHERE DO THEY GO?

I hate when stuff doesn't reach it's owner.
I'm dealing with two disappointed buyers right now
and it breaks my heart that their items hasn't arrived.
I always get proof of postage when I send my stuff off
so my customers can feel secure that I don't try to
swindle them.
In this case it won't make them any happier since they
might have lost what they purchased and it makes me
sad to get negative feedback when I've done nothing
wrong.
I even started to send small stuff in bigger envelopes
to reduce the risk of items getting lost.
I don't know what else to do, I feel like a big failure.

Sorry to hear, but don't be too hard on yourself. I don't trust Royal Mail at all. Their postman left a parcel for me on our doorstep! We wouldn't have know about it if our neighbour hadn't told that before they were able to save it, some kid walking past had stolen it! Made a complaint and royal mail who just thanked us for the feedback...

And you can only claim if your customers have payed with PayPal.
It doesn't help at all that it's written in Swedish as well.

Royal Mail has got their head up their ass but from my side they put the parcels and letters straight down the sack so I wonder were the hell the stuff disappears to.

I once waited months for a cd with photographs to arrive from Finland to England. It never did... Royal mail cannot be trusted it seems. I even heard this story about a person working for royal mail who had been steeling a few bits of post here and there for years on end. And this crazy person hadn't even opened most of it. Just liked to have his house full of it. Crazy. Hope your stuff gets there in the end...

it's not better witht he german post either. i always offer my ebay-customers registered mail if they want to, but as a lot of people don't want to pay that 1,50€ more.. up to now, nothing has got lost, but you can never be sure - and it's really sad if you get negative feedback because of things like that.

Canada Post is no better...

I've had parcels take months (when they should take no longer than 4 weeks MAX) to arrive in the hands of their customers and I felt just aweful!

I haven't had anything lost yet...very delayed though.

Always insure items, I say :)

Don't dispair! You'll work something out :)

I sell jewelry and I always send it out in a huge box. I'm convinced that small packages are way more likely to be stolen.
