I'm thinking about changing the faux mother of pearl buttons to some
vintage style rhinestone buttons instead.

Super-cute. I have a jewel-button cardie, it's excellent for day-to-evening and holidays as it spans practical to glam perfectly.
That is really cute,I love tops with fur collars.That one looks similar to one I have.mines is black with fur collar no buttons just a pull over cardi.I think it will look really nice with jeweled buttons.xx
